The great thing about Lotus ownership is the camaraderie amongst other owners and the openness to meeting up in their cars. Using The Lotus Forums we arranged a carefully planned convoy from Cambridge to Brooklands, via Hatfield picking up others on the way. In total we ended up arriving as a convoy of about 9 cars as we even found a couple on the M25!
Being my first proper trip with other Lotus owners in the car, the experience was incredible. The International Lotus Day is an annual event, last year attracting over 300 cars, so it is certainly a weekend to keep free! I entered the car into the concours d’elegance, mainly so we could do the track parade, amazingly the car won an award!!
